Since 9 October 2024, funding has been granted by the decision of the Minister of economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania for the implementation of the project “Enhancing the competitiveness and visibility of the National Food Cluster”.
The national food cluster brings cluster companies together in a network of high-value-added companies. All producer members want to maintain the quality of production, look for ways and means of producing, so that the majority of products on the table are healthier, innovative and have a role for the human body. The cluster involves scientists and contributes to the development and production of innovative products by members.
The aim of the project is to achieve cluster growth and growth through activities related to cluster promotion, marketing, awareness raising and training.
The project plans to strengthen cluster activities, facilitate cooperation, information sharing and the provision of specialised services. Investments will be made in cluster marketing, the involvement of new companies, and the visibility of the cluster. It also plans to organise training, seminars and conferences to promote knowledge sharing, networking and cross-border cooperation.
The project is implemented by the SC “Project Management Centre”.
Project value: EUR 733 478,58, of which EUR 366 739,29 from EU funds.
Duration of the project: 14 November 2024 – 14 November 2026
The project is co-financed by the European Union.
